Started by three friends who just wanted a way to enjoy house music and discover new artists, THIS IS HOUSE found its beginnings by simply bringing people and artists together in locations across the city.

After just a couple of events, they noticed Montreal’s intense desire for high-quality house and techno music events. This prompted them to go further, registering as a non-profit organization to move towards their goal of building a true house music movement.

Within a matter of months, This is House transformed from a casual, free event page to a quickly growing and well-recognized brand.

THIS IS HOUSE now partners with local and international artists, sponsors, and venues to create high-production events all year long.
